I am an Individual Integrative Psychotherapist, a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist and a Clinical Supervisor.
My therapeutic approach draws on a range of theories including psychodynamic therapy, integrative psychosynthesis, Jungian, existential, developmental, CBT and systemic psychotherapy. I believe that therapy is not a one size fits all and during our initial sessions we can decide together which approach may be helpful for you. I work holistically, which means taking into consideration all aspects of the person’s life. In therapy this means being mindful of not only the emotional and psychological aspects but also the physiological and the wider social world, our relationships, history, culture, socio political context and spirituality.
I have been working as a therapist since 2006 and have worked in a variety of contexts throughout the NHS, Local Authority and the voluntary sector [particularly around grief, loss, trauma and transition]. In addition to my private practice I also currently work for Local Authority services as a psychotherapist, I provide training to professional staff around therapeutic approaches to engaging and working with their clients. I also work at Re-Vision [https://www.re-vision.org.uk/] as a Tutor and Clinical Supervisor to Counsellors and Psychotherpists in Training.
I have a current DBS and I am registered with the UKCP [https://www.psychotherapy.org.uk/about-ukcp/our-register/] as an Integrative Psychotherapist and a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist.
I work from a comfortable and confidential venue in East Ham. This venue is a short walk from the local tube station [zone 3, District Line and Hammersmith and City Line]. Please note the room is accessed via a flight of stairs.
Psychotherapy offers support in times of crisis and can help us deepen our relationship with ourselves, others, and life as a whole. It provides a space to reflect on what’s working and what’s not, and to consider changes we may want to make.
From an early age, we develop ways of thinking and behaving to cope with our circumstances. As adults, these patterns can leave us feeling stuck. Therapy helps us recognise these patterns and discover new ways of responding to ourselves and those around us.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your unique needs. This might mean short-term work focused on a specific issue, or longer-term, open-ended therapy that allows deeper exploration.
In open-ended therapy, there is room to explore both the shadow and light within us. I value the role of imagination and symbolic process, trusting the psyche’s natural wisdom. This creative, intuitive approach can offer insight beyond the rational mind, and help us move through inner conflict towards greater wholeness.
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” – Maya Angelou
Family and Systemic Psychotherapy helps people in close relationships better understand and support one another. It offers a safe space to explore difficult emotions, appreciate different perspectives, and make meaningful changes that strengthen relationships. Individuals, couples, and families can all benefit from this reflective process.
This approach views problems as part of relational patterns, rather than locating the issue in one person. By recognising how we influence one another, each person is empowered to create change. Exploring early life and family experiences can shed light on current challenges, and tools like family genograms help uncover intergenerational patterns, values, and stories.
Family therapy is:
Couples Therapy, creates space to explore your relationship from new angles. It helps identify stuck patterns and gently invites change, often through dialogue and shared tasks. Understanding how past family dynamics shape current beliefs and behaviours is a key part of the process.
Couples may seek therapy for many reasons, including:
Sometimes relationships reach a point where separation feels necessary. In these cases, therapy can support couples to part with respect and understanding—especially important when children are involved.
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” – Rumi
Supervision is an essential and enriching part of psychotherapeutic practice. It offers a confidential, collaborative space to reflect on your client work, explore relational dynamics, and deepen your clinical understanding. As a supervisor, I aim to create a trusting and respectful environment where you can bring your whole self—your insights, uncertainties, and evolving practice.
My approach to supervision is integrative and relational, drawing from a range of theories while always being responsive to your specific context and way of working. Whether you are newly qualified or more experienced, supervision can support you in maintaining ethical practice, developing your therapeutic voice, and staying connected to the heart of the work.
Alongside attention to clinical material, I also welcome space for reflective exploration of your personal responses, countertransference, and any organisational or contextual challenges that may impact your practice. I believe supervision should offer containment and challenge in equal measure—a place where you can be both supported and stretched.
I offer supervision for:
Supervision can be held in person or online, and I am happy to discuss what might suit your needs.
Supervision is not about being told what to do—it’s about being deeply listened to.”
